Armored Train 'Fascism Fighter' (Base
Variant). WWII Soviet armored train consisting of a type OV locomotive,
armed tender, 2 biaxial multi-turreted railcars. Kit features armored
steam locomotive with faceted plate armor surfaces, raised rivets,
rolling wheels, contiguous armor plated tender fit with quad Maxim
machine guns on pedestal and ample photo-etch parts (front end plating,
tender rear plating, coupling shields, corner flanges, hinges,
superstructure plates, AA gun shield, gun sight and coupling details).
Double-turreted car has a pair of T-26 infantry tank turrets (45mm gun
with coaxial 7.62mm MG); triple-turreted car has T-28 (76.2mm) gun
turret and 2 cylindrical 7.62mm MG turrets - each car features 2
additional onboard DT MGs, rolling wheels, sloped armor lower body and
superstructure (with engraved plate seams and raised rivets), rotatable
turrets and photo-etch parts (machine gun aperture detail, handholds,
hatches, lower section armor plate and coupling hardware). Also includes
railroad section base of 6 single-piece rails over cross ties, each
approximately 4 1/16" long. Decals and painting guide for the Red Army
train 'Fascism Fighter' during 1941.
