early WWII variant with asymmetric glazed nose, 3 defensive MG 15
machine guns and twin Daimler-Benz DB 601 engines. Kit features crisp
engraved panel lines, well appointed fuselage interior including
excellent cockpit and bombardier's station, ventral gondola, bomb bay
with 8 vertical magazines (each with 250kg bomb), hinged ailerons and
rudder, posable flaps and ailerons, highly detailed landing gear and
wheel wells, segmented nose glazing and optional position parts (bomb
bay doors, gondola hatch and dorsal gunner glazing). Decals and painting
guide for 3 German aircraft: 'B3+HN' of 5./KG54 Totenkopf Geschwader at
Coulommiers, France, 1940; '1G+ES' of III./KG27 Boelcke Geschwader,
Germany, 1940 and '5J+CN' of II./KG5 'General Wever' as preserved at the
